Virtual workplace for AIT PA training and operations support
Currently space missions are assembled, tested and verified following manual procedures: for the most part their production, assembly, integration and verification activities are lagging behind the latest ?Industry 4.0? smart factory approaches. Assembly, integration and verification from equipment up to platform and satellite level is a huge set of tasks and the nature of the involved engineering disciplines are very diverse. Activities are performed in parallel at several locations executed by different teams of experts and using a variety of tools.

System analysis of deployable components for micro landers in low gravity environment
The project entitled "System analysis of deployable components for micro landers in low gravity environment" is conducted within the framework of the ESA contract no. 4000117150/16/NL/HK/hh. Its goal is to perform an analysis and trade-off between the various design options for antennas and solar array deployment mechanisms (including a comparison between the fixed and deployable configurations) of the MASCOT-2 lander in the micro-gravity environment of Didymoon.
