Security is becoming increasingly important in all of ESA's missions, rather than just in specific missions (Galileo, Copernicus) as was the case in the past. Therefore, the European space industry need to have a well-defined and standardized approach to assess the security processes of its suppliers, especially in terms of software development, where many security vulnerabilities can be introduced.

The de-risk activity has been focused on the critical aspects of the dual-service constellation and satellite, to remove the principal risks related to understanding the: - Market analysis in order to identify end-users for the proposed service - System concept and architecture definition, including payloads and their accommodation - Preliminary analysis of the dual service expected performances - Combined dual-service quality - Preliminary business case with the preliminary calculation of the total service cost.

The general goal of this project is to operationalize and deepen the findings and conclusions of the initial project “Exploring AI capabilities to support the evaluation process of ideas submitted in the OSIP platform.” which demonstrated that AI techniques and software (COGITO Discover) could be used positively to enhance and ease the evaluation of ideas, by providing some new indicators such as idea novelty (scoring 0-100) based on the notion of similarity between ideas and innovation projects.
