The MSDC processes data from optical, laser and radar sources to perform high accuracy orbit determination. The MSDC was validated in an operational environment, tracking real targets for which high accuracy ephemeris were available, facilitating system validation and proving its effectiveness in accurate orbit determination. These two systems are the US GPS and the Russian GLONASS. However, the number of available GNSS in 2020 will grow up to four operational systems and the number of available GNSS satellites will be over 120 for potential users. Each GNSS will have at least three civil frequencies and more than two types of new GNSS signals. The complexity for processing of GNSS signals will increase substantially and the aspect of Interoperability will gain on importance for all GNSS users. Whereas standard sampling technologies are still limited up to 20 ghz. The same electro-photonic technology can be used in the ground stations receivers (using microwave subsampling) or in the transmitter (signal oversampling). The electro-photonic device is associated with high performance ADC , DAC and FPGA and will be integrated in a transmitter and receiver front end.
