The project shall address technologies and architectures for efficient access to large distributed multi-mission data sets grouped by mission, application, service or thematic platforms.
Furthermore it shall test, develop, select and benchmark the data intensive technologies needed for archive organization, distribution, access, in line with the best principles and practices promoted by ESA.

The objective is to automate the generation of database editor MMIs resulting from a formally specified data-model. The data model is constructed in line with a domain ontology (prepared in an existing approved TRP activity) which removes ambiguity in terminology and data content. It is refined through the tailoring of E70-41A (packet utilisation standard). This will enable the automated generation of user interfaces to M+C AIT databases according to project specific space-ground ICDs.

    The GOMX-3 mission takes advantage of a flight opportunity provided within the ESA ISS Short Duration Mission (SDM) of Danish astronaut, A. Mogensen, during ISS Increment 44. During the SDM, it is planned to deploy a number of Danish CubeSats into orbit for technology demonstration and education purposes.

    For the GOMX-3 mission, the miniaturized technology payload is supported under Danish national funding and provided as an in-kind contribution.
