Programme: GSTP Prime Contractor: LENS RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT

Objectives

Qualify high reliability Sunsensors with an extended temperature range that are optimized for volume production.

Description

Successful completion of a full qualification program including life testing as specified in ECSS-E-ST-10-03C for two Sunsensor variants (BiSon64-ET without additional straylight baffle and BiSon64-ET-B with straylight baffle) using an envelope specification so the sensors can be used on multiple missions without delta qualification.Achivement:•Low volume/Low mass high reliability Sunsensor with extended temperature range.•Cost effective due to optimization for volume applications•Including straylight and Earth Albedo error reducing integrated straylight baffle in case desired.
