Study on Harmonization of MSVS and SIMSAT
SIMSAT is the ESOC Software Infrastructure for Modelling Satellites. It is a simulation model development and run-time infrastructure. It is provided with basic environment, ground segment and TM/TC models.
MSVS is the Multipurpose Space Vehicle Simulator built using the CAE ROSETM model development and run-time environment. The words ROSE and MSVS will often be used interchangeably in this document. The MSVS is provided with the ROSE toolset, additional tools specific to MSVS, libraries of basic models, and an example application which is based on the ESA ATV.
The objectives of the study were to:
-
evaluate different options for the harmonization of the SIMSAT and MSVS simulation environments,
-
recommend one or more of these options for further development,
-
and implement one or more options as time permits.
