Prototypes in ST Microelectronics C65SPACE 65 nm technology have been manufactured in 2015 under the product code GR740. Prototypes and evaluation boards have been made available to end users as of Q2/2016. The GR740 has been extensively validated with functional, electrical and radiation testing throughout 2016, several anomalies have been found in the design and in the technology library. This will involve the development and industrialization of encapsulation process and the development of mechanical elements for the integration of traditionally applied geometries of inductive components. The proposed activity is a continuation from a GSTP 4 activity (G604-11EP Study). The goal of that activity was to assess materials and technologies related to a series of planar inductive components. Conventional reaction wheels use brushless DC motors with relatively high magnetic flux densities in large air gaps without any dedicated compensation or 'magnetic balancing' of the motor magnets. The motor external magnetic field together with contributions from further components, (ball bearings), combine to a significant magnetic dipole moment. Several advantages when using iodine as opposed to xenon can be enumerated. Iodine and xenon atomic mass and first ionization energy are very close and thruster performances, in terms of thrust density, thrust efficiency and specific impulse, have proved to be almost the same. Iodine is solid at ambient temperature and pressure, with a density about four times the density of xenon stored at 200 bar of pressure and ambient temperature. Currently, the EOPs are obtained from an external entity the Earth Orientation and Reference Service (IERS). The goal of this activity is the development of ESA capability for the estimation and prediction of Earth Orientation Parameter in order to become independent of external services. Several aspects related to this subject topic need to be investigated and further developed. In principle, the charge can be removed by active emitters (guns) but this adds to the system complexity and cost. A GSP study used theory and simulation to explore the possibility of a passive system in which naturally occurring potential differences on the spacecraft can be used to drive an electron emitter, which safely lowers the spacecraft potential. The gripper, which is attached to the tip of the robotic arm, plays a important role in the satellite capture operation as it provides the mechanical and structural interface between the servicer/chaser vehicle and the target satellite during the critical capture and stabilisation operations. Due to the potentially unknown state of the target satellite, the capture operation must be able to handle both cooperative satellites (i.e. Greece TDE T713-501MM HELLENIC TECHNOLOGY OF ROBOTICS SA 2017 - 2020 Pre-Development of LAR Gripper Pagination « First First page ‹‹ Previous page 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 … ›› Next page Last » Last page Filter by Programme Discovery (38) GSTP (27) TDE (26) Filter by Start Year (-) 2017 (91) Filter by End Year 2019 (26) 2018 (17) 2020 (17) 2021 (11) 2022 (6) 2023 (6) 2017 (4) 2024 (3) Filter by Keywords Ariadna (4) 32-Clean Space (3) CleanSat (3) CleanSpace (3) Communication (3) EO (3) GNSS (3) ISS (3) Moon (3) Operations (3) Space debris (3) 0-Navigation Technologies (2) 4-Spacecraft Environments and Effects (2) 38-Advanced Manufacturing (2) Astronaut (2) CubeSat (2) Energy Storage (2) Exploration (2) Gravity (2) Ionosphere (2) ISRU (2) lunar base (2) Magnetometers (2) Marine Litter (2) Mega Constellations (2) Modelling (2) Power (2) Quantum Physics (2) Security (2) Space Exploration (2) Space Weather (2) Sustainability (2) Swarm (2) Weather (2) 1-Microwave Payloads (1) 1-On-board Data Systems (1) 1-Space Situational Awareness (1) 2-Space Segment - Platform (1) 3-Space Segment - Payload (1) 3d printing (1) 4-Ground Segment (1) 7-Electromagnetic Technologies and Techniques (1) 10-Flight Dynamics and GNSS (1) 15-Mechanisms (1) 15-Technologies applicable to several Cosmic Vision Missions (1) 19-Propulsion (1) 24-Materials and Processes (1) 26-Spacecraft Avionic System (1) 33-Space and Energy (1) 35-Technologies Enabling Breakthroughs in Science (1) 36-Collaborative Activities (1) 37-Exploration Technology (1) absolute calibration (1) ADM (1) ADR (1) AIM (1) Amplifier (1) Asteroid (1) Augmented Reality (1) Battery (1) battery-less (1) Big Data (1) Biomass (1) brain (1) climatology (1) Cloud profiling (1) Crop yields (1) Demisability (1) Deorbit (1) EarthCare (1) Earth observation (1) End of Life (1) Engineering (1) Farming (1) FDS (1) General Relativity (1) GEROS (1) GNC (1) GNSS-R (1) GOCE (1) HERA (1) Human spaceflight (1) Ice (1) in-space manufacturing (1) IR (1) Land (1) Laser (1) LCA (1) LISA (1) LISA Pathfinder (1) low temperature (1) Lunar Lander (1) M4 (1) magnetic fields (1) marine litter detection (1) Maritime (1) Mars (1) Materials (1) Megaconstellations (1) MetOp (1) Mission (1) moon calibration (1) Navigation (1) Ocean (1) optical sensor calibration (1) Physics (1) plastic (1) Pre-Phase A (1) Quantum Encryption (1) radiometric calibration (1) REACH (1) Remote Sensing (1) Robotics (1) SAR (1) sentinel 2 (1) Sentinel satellites (1) Simulation (1) Simulator (1) Sleep (1) Small Satellites (1) Space 4.0 (1) THA (1) Thermal (1) Thermodynamics (1) Tracking (1) XIPE (1) Filter by Contractor Thales Alenia Space (4) ONERA (3) Airbus Def&Space GmbH (2) Airbus Defence & Space (2) AIRBUS DEFENCE AND SPACE S.A.U.
